 | I am one of Doc's 11 children.  He was the last surviving member of the crew of the Round Tripper #42-31369.  Sadly, Dad passed away on 02/25/2010.  A great man who is sorely missed by all.  Thank God for the skills of the pilot and crew the day they went down in 1944 - - the number of people blessed having known him are innumerable.  Say a prayer for an old warrior gone to be with his Father.

 | My sincerest condolences on the loss of your father.  Please take the time to send a bio to pfg@401bg.org for inclusion in the 401st Bomb Group Association's quarterly newsletter "Poop from Group".
Rejoice in your memories of your father in addition to mourning his loss.

 | Please accept my heart felt sorrow for your family in the passing of your father.  Rejoice in the fact that your father was a man of honor and a hero for his dedication for serving our country.  I pray for that old warrior and head of such a fine family.  I had posted the other day but went back and checked and my comments were not there.  So again I commend him in the voice of the 401st Bomb Group.

 | Rick,
I will try to send the bio(actually his obit) on Dad this evening, it says it all-- if it does not come through let me know.

 Thanks,

 Kurt
