Win Bryson 6/18/2009 7:40:11 PM | Hi: You've a lot of company - You're among a growing number of WWII Vets' and Casualties' Kin looking for information. 'Good hunting'. (We've been doing that, too, for and about our KIA 613Sq Lt. Nelson Crew). Here's what little direct information I can offer, but if you E-mail me (win-z@comcast.net), I can pass-on more about resources (and where we found what). - - Sgt. Berkowitz (unless he 'filled-in that day) appears to be in the 613Sq. Lt. W.B. Keith Crew, one of the original 401st Crews (but their A/C, 42-31557 was not). - - Lt. J.B. Priest, the Keith Crew's Navigator that day (filling-in, probably) was the Navigator for the Lt. R.M. Fowler Crew (another original 613Sq 401st Crew). - - And I've not found any of the 'Kieth' Crew names in the 1947 and 2005 401st Directories (but they are incomplete and don't account for kin married names). Let me know if we can help. Win Bryson |
