3/16/2007 7:10:30 PM | The most famous B-17 in the 401st was the one that got YOU safely back to Deenthorpe, regardless of the name on the nose!Every crew chief and combat crew will naturally choose their own B-17, so the question is moot! BTW, I dont rememember the Baby Lu
as more than any of the others.

3/22/2007 12:39:45 PM | You are thinking along the lines of the Memphis Bell as the first B-17 to complete 25 missions. In the 401st BG there are none that made the first but would guess the one that compleated the most missions overall.
