Based upon messages in the respective MACRsto which I have added the results of my own research on the spots, the crash sites are as follows:
a/c 1/Lt G.E.WEST 800 m south of Krensitz, 15 km NNE of Leipzig. 3 KIA - 7 POW.
a/c 1/Lt V.J. KAMINSKI  woods of Steinberg near Mühro, 20 km N of target Dessau. 8 KIA - 2 POW
a/c 1/Lt W.F. PROTZ near an Inn 6 km east of Aken/Elbe, 5 km west of Dessau.5 KIA - 5 POW
a/c 1/Lt P.F. SCHARFF at Glienecke, 36 km east of Burg, which is due north of Magdeburg. 4 KIA - 6 POW.
a/c 2/Lt F.H. WINDHAM at Niemegk, 12 km west of Treuenbrietzen. 5 KIA - 5 POW.
a/c 1/Lt W.B. KEITH Jr. 8 km south of Wiessenburg, 28 km NNE of Dessau. 4 KIA - 6 POW.
All these locations are in the (north-)eastern part of Germany.
The remains of 16 of these airmen were repatriated to the U.S.A. for permanent burial after WWII, whilst 13 still rest in U.S. National Cemeteries in France and Holland.
