Looking for info on B-17 shot down off Bordeaux. Six crew escaped over Pyrenees, four were killed. How were they killed? Did they go down with the plane or were they shot in their 'chutes?

If you click on Missions on the home page, you will see that the plane was probably Flak Rat.  I will check out my resources and get a Missing Air Crew Report number (MACR) that you can use to get a copy of the report from the Air Force History Office.

Many thanks. Can I obtain a copy of the MACR without applying in person, and if so, do you have the address of the Air Force History Office please.

The Air Force History Office has a website if you just look up "Air Force History Office" in quotes.
