I am searching the Kovach crew, who had their last mission with #42-31369 "Round Tripper" on 5. August 1944. It was mission #123 - Nienburg.

According the 614th Sqn Loading List this day, I can see the crew of Kovach was:

P   1st Lt. Kovach, John W.
CP  2nd Lt. Kellam, James W.
N   2nd Lt. Coselli, Frank J. Jr.
CTG S/Sgt.  Horbatuck, Stepan J.
RO  T/Sgt.  Pollard, Omer S.
TT  T/Sgt.  Rouhselang, Willard J.
BT  S/Sgt.  Guest, Hollis D.
TG  S/Sgt.  Schmidt, Edward J.
WG  S/Sgt.  Maki, Arthur W.

Next day the aircraft went down in the Baltic Sea with the Sauerwald Crew.

I am very interested to have a photo of the aircraft. Please refer to other messages on this Messsage Board concerning the recovery.

Kind regards

The National Archives has a negative # A65452AC of Round Tripper.  I can't tell from the negative number if this is a crew picture in front of the airplane, a shot of the plane itself, or a painted jacket.  They will send you a xerox copy of the photo from that negative and a brochure on how to order prints from companies that have "pull" rights.  Look at the National Archives website.

There is a negative # A65452AC at the National Archives that has Round Tripper in it.  There's no way of knowing what kind of shot it is unless you ask them.
