Robert D. Johnson, Jr. 8/25/2003 11:11:04 AM | Is it possible to identify a crew member and his crew by their individual serial number? |
Scott McElvain 8/25/2003 3:28:46 PM | I have my dad's serial number and the serial numbers of his fellow crewmembers on some of his paperwork. Each crew had a crew number, I believe. If you have someone's serial number from your dad's crew, there might be a way. A lot of veterans' records were destroyed in a fire in the late 60s, early 70's at Jefferson Barracks, MO. |
Donald Byers 8/26/2003 8:15:03 AM | You can try that but I believe they will only respond to a relative of each individual person. That is because it does have some personal information in it. I had to indicate it was my uncle that I was requesting info on when I sent mine in. Don |
Roert D. Johnson, Jr. 8/26/2003 10:42:13 PM | What did you send in and to where? |
Scott McElvain 8/29/2003 12:03:47 PM | Do a search on service records and check out the NARA, National Archives and Records Admonitstration. |
Donald Byers 9/6/2003 4:06:43 PM | A SF-From 180 to the national personnel records in St. Louis MO. I will have to find the actual address. Don |
