Does anyone know how to access these records? I am looking for the 612th sq records for a specific Fortress...42-39943. Trying to find out how many missions she flew before being lost on May 7, 44.

Thanks, Chris

My dad was co-pilot for Heavy Date on Bloetsher's crew.  Were you on that crew?  Pilot Bloetscher, Co-pilot McElvain, and Gunner Skaggs have died that I know of.  Radioman Hal Mauldin who was added to the crew for the relay missions is alive.

Scott,
My dad was the navigator of Heavy Date from August 1944 to approximately Feb-March 1945. I'd be very interested to learn whatever information you could share regarding missions and/or crew.

Regards,

Brett

Dear Brett - Have a lot of stuff on the crew/plane/etc and will get back in touch shortly - am on a short pleasure trip.  Was so hoping to get in touch with other crew members besides those I listed in a previous message.  Hope the crew sons and daughter can get together in Tucson.
