Hello,

I would like to ask a question about certain artwork on the A2 jackets of the 401st BG. Reason for this: Together with an artwork artist I want to start on a A2 Rough Wear A2 jacket with an original 1944 talon zipper, that will get the artwork of Diabolical Angel, an 401st BG B-17. Not a cheap imitation but a 100% real reproduction of the original jacket. I have found one picture on this website of the jacket and got pictures of the actual jacket as it looks today. It still looks great!!!

The question I want to put on the forum is "who original created the art on B-17's and A2 jackets of the 401st BG?" Also if possible who did the artwork on the original A2 Diabolical Angel Jacket. We want to put his name on the inside of the jacket to honor him for job well done!

Offcoarse if finished I will send pictures of the jacket to the 401st BG Association.

I hope somebody can help me.

Kind Regards,

Maurice

Might be the same artist, might not:
