6/28/2011 1:58:30 PM | Following on from their coverage of the mugs burial the other day, there is a double page spread of 401st photos in the Kettering Evening Telegraph tonight. Images to follow once I get my camera working... All the best, Paul

6/29/2011 6:00:39 AM | Sorry Ed, my faithful old scanner won't work with Windows 7. I'll get a new one sometime... 😉 Win, I'll see how many copies I can round up. 1994 Reunion photos: Jack Root: Bill leading the jeep convoy from the control tower: We should be able to put names to these faces: Interesting photo of B-17F Lady Luck: (According to my notes, this particular one was assigned to the 463rd BG, 15th AF. I have no idea where the ET found the photo or why they included it ...) The most often-seen 401BG photo over here, sadly not held by NARA. Does anyone have a hi-res copy so I can attempt to identify the aircraft in it? All the best, Paul
