12/24/2010 3:05:46 AM | I'm thinking of our 401st BG Veterans, families and friends at this special time of year. May you have safe travels and meaningful fun filled gatherings as you celebrate your personal traditions. Our family will be celebrating Christmas with gatherings in WA, OR, CA, AZ, TX, GA and Afghanistan. It’s a small world and Christmas brings our hearts together year after year. My hope for 2011 is that our veterans will be blessed with maintained or renewed health. I always tell my Uncle Frank, “I need you! You better not go anywhere!” So far so good despite his health challenges. I also hope that our association will continue to grow and thrive with the help of all of you wonderful members and volunteers out there. I intend to do all I can to help Jeannie and Sue make our next 2012 Reunion in Colorado a GREAT one. I hope you will do the same. We all have something unique to offer. Please consider your gifts and talents and let the board know if you can help in some way, not just with the reunion but with the day to day or even a one time project in your area of expertise. You have enriched my life and I’ve truly enjoyed witnessing the ways you’ve more importantly enriched my Uncle’s life. After a very rough patch, this past decade of his life has been SO amazing, in part because of his involvement with this group. We are proud to be associated with all of you and with what the 401st Bomb Group stands for. Let’s keep it going strong! Blessings to you and yours now and in the new year to come, Josie Navarro 🙂 and Frank D. Perez – 613th
