We did have a great, 4th, by the way. Something very interesting, unusual and sad happened. As some know, we went to Belgium in 2007, where the Belgiums treated my father very nicely. We thought dad was the last living member of the crew. We were wrong. Turns out that dad wasn't and one other crew member (and dad's closest friend) was still alive: JP Christensen. Sadly, he passed away at the beginning of the year and we only just found out now. It would have been wonderful if we'd known about him in 2007, I can only imagine the stories he and dad might have told. We only just learned of this through a woman named Marlene Little, who was related to Christensen by marriage of a nephew.
Dad sent condolences to the family and signed a copy of his "book". A remarkable weekend, all in all.
