Hey guys, a gun website talk forum I belong to, a guy is selling a 1911 .45, that belonged to a Capt Tom Bauer who served during 1944 in the Air Force, and comes with the original holster from 1944.
So, was wondering if anyone might know, or know of Capt. Tom Bauer....

let me know if you do.
Thanks

OK, thanks Don. Was one of those deals, where I was HOPING that somebody knew him, or maybe a relative was hanging @ here, so I could get them re-united with his 1911 from teh war. Now, i realize that it was a super long shot, and even if I did find them they might not even be interested in it....HOWEVER, I could still hope the other way, which is what I was doing.

So, hopefully someone comes forward and knows him.....
