Again, I never asked my Grandpa which military he served in, as I ASSUMED it was teh Air Force because of what he did (obviously he was a Top Turret on the Mary Alice).

So, am I missing something? Or did tehy make a mistake? Or??????? I need to know quickly, as my Mom is wanting to get this fixed (if it is a problem) ASAP!!!

Derrick Morris, Grandson of S/Sgt Engr/Top Turret William "Dale" Sartor, 615th BS 401st BG, "Mary Alice"
|- | '''donaldbyers'''

3/1/2010 9:32:48 AM | It's correct, US Army Air Corps the Air Force came later as a seperate service. I know my uncle's headstone had 401st BG, 613th BS on it but it's in a national cemetery.

Don

Sgt. Donald C.
