Nine-O-Nine is in Arizona right now Ed.....

She's leaving Chandler Municipal Airport today for Marana Regional Airport, Tucson until the end of Sunday before heading off to San Diego next week. Better scrape your ticket money together quickly! 😉

Also, the CAF's Sentimental Journey is offering flights out of Glendale Municipal Airport this weekend, having visited Chandler at the start of this month.
She's based at Mesa, AZ, as you know from your earlier visit, and does passenger flights from there while not touring.

Paul

You gonna donate the 400? I'm so there!

The closest I'm gonna get to flying a B-17 anytime soon is to grab my father's model and run around the room going "vroom! vroom!"

Ed.

Gents:
Thanks forthe heads-up on Nine-O-Nine and Sentimental Journey westward movements. Hadn't checked their Website calendars yet - better get busy.
My luck, they'll both be here in the San Francisco Bay Area the same days and I'll brain-freeze...again.
My 'ride' will no-doubt be limited to engine-audio and av-gas fumes' bliss, but would hate to miss them.

B-17 Liberty Belle was in Van Nye's area end of March I think. Nine O Nine is going East and to Europe.

I know Liberty Belle is scheduled to fly to the UK this summer (if funding is in place), but I hadn't heard anything similar planned for Nine O Nine. All I know is she's booked to be on the western half of the USA until the end of June at least, with dates in California, Oregon, Washington, Montana and Wyoming.

Liberty Belle has been in California since March, moving to Denver this weekend, then onto Kansas and Oklahoma by May.

Paul
