The average survival rate for airmen on combat missions was 16 missions. " EDIT: Duff files removed. It seems something in this forum's setup doesn't allow embedded Youtube video screens. Ah well. NOTE: In case any reader is confused, not all the images on the videos are of the 401st. There are scenes from many sources including the original Memphis Belle movie, generic USAAF stock, etc. all presented alongside genuine 401BG stills.
