10/28/2007 7:57:01 PM | Silly question, but here we go..... I've been meaning to join the 401st BG Association for some time now, since the 2002 decision to open it to non-Veterans. However, the application form requires the fee to be sent as a cheque, which would be a big problem for non-US applicants. Enclosing cash would be a bit risky, and postal/money orders cost a fortune to both sender and receiver, so what is the best way to pay? All the best, Paul

10/29/2007 1:33:10 PM | Hi Paul, I recently joined up, took the plunge and sent a crisp 20 dollar bill obtained from NatWest by post and encountered no problems, received my first newsletter a fortnight ago although nothing in the form of a membership card. So I would say it's all rather straight forward. Sometimes you just gotta do it. Regards Dale

2/11/2008 6:13:10 PM | Dragging this thread out of the darkness momentarily. 😉 I took Dale's advice and sent my application off about a month ago. Unfortunately, I forgot to put my accompanying letter in the envelope (oops) alongside the application form, and I appreciate the Treasurer is away on holiday, but I look forward to recieving any acknowledgement of my application in any form. Fingers crossed, Paul
