2/12/2010 11:38:56 PM | Yes it is another sad day for the 401st BG. I have known Norm since the 2000 Group Reunion in Dayton Ohio I believe. He was always telling jokes and most of all had the 401st BG mission in mind. He has spent many years in various positions and making donations to the Group such as the 2006 reunion with the black T-Shirts that were also available at the 2008 reunion. Produced CD's also for same at the PX to help fund projects with the Group in mind. Sadly he has gone forever aloft and we shall always miss him and my heart goes out to his wife and family he has left behind.

2/13/2010 4:29:58 PM | Told my dad about Norm's passing, he was saddened by it. Dad was active about the same time Norm was, even shared quarters with Sisson's crew. Another sad day for us all.

2/14/2010 4:43:02 PM | I can not say that I knew him, but after losing my Grandpa last month, I know what it feels like to lose someone. My condolences go out to the famiy and friends of Norm.
I have ALWAYS respected our Military, but after REALLY doing my homework on our heros and the one's that dedicate their lives to protecting our country and our freedom, my respect and admiration has grown a hundred fold.

2/14/2010 9:15:07 PM | I don't know if I ever met Mr Sisson personally, if I did it would have been during the 1994 Deenethorpe Reunion.
I do know that he did more than his allotted number of missions during his tour, and was well thought of by his crew and others on base.
His work within the association will also not be forgotten, and my thoughts go out to his family in these sad days.
My sincere condolences to his family.
