I don't know what squadron he was in or what plane he flew on but I do know that he was in the 401st and was a crew chief from 1943-1945. My husband has his grandfathers wings and on the back of them it says London and that might possibly be where he was based. I didn't know if you could help me or not...any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Amanda Marshall
|- | '''Donald Byers'''
8/10/2009 4:24:52 PM | As he didn't show up in my search of the 401st BG I was wondering if he may have been in the 401st Bomb Squadron of the 91st Bombardment Group?
|}
