I would like to contact him, if possible.
|- | '''Donald Byers'''
4/24/2009 8:41:07 AM | He is not shown in the 2005 401st Bomb Group Directory nor is he in the 2000 directory. He is also not listed in the 1989 directory. Apparently never a member of the Group Assn.

Don
|- | '''Elmer Cheatham'''
6/20/2009 9:07:45 PM | I was radio operator on the crew of Vincent Kaminski. Jay Robideaux joined our crew in early 1944 as ball turret gunner. Since he did not commence his missions at the time our crew did, he was still flying when I left in late May, 1944. I have had no contact with him since that time. I do have his picture with our crew and others in our hut. If you would like a copy of that, send me your email address and I will forward it to you.
|- | '''Elmer Eugene Browning'''
5/25/2010 7:31:23 PM | Please send me a copy of the photo you have of Jay Robideaux. Thank you, as he was a replacement tail
gunner for one mission 28 May 1944 to Dessau for
Elmer Gillespie's crew "Elmer's Tune". Do you have
a photo of Sgt. M. I. Cantin, ball turret gunner for
1st Lt V.J. Kaminski's crew? If so, I would like that also. Please forward to me. Thanks,
S/Sgt. Elmer Browning, ball turret gunner for "Elmer's Tune", Elmer Gillespie's crew.
|- | '''Linda Huegin McCabe'''
6/28/2010 6:57:35 PM | Elmer, I saw your article in this month's Poop From Group and it made me think of my father, William "Bill" Huegin, who flew missions at the same time. He was Dan Knight's copilot on the Mary Alice, March-June 1944. Your story especially touched me in that about five years ago Dan Knight tried to reach my father(after 60 years)having not seen or heard from him. Unfortunately, the story did not have the same ending, as my dad was killed in an auto accident in 1961. I, however, had the great privilege of communicating with Dan and hearing stories about my dad we never knew. The crew picture on this website was provided by me. I had it in a box,and until that time had no idea what it represented. He never shared that time with me or our family. Would it be possible that you knew or remember my dad? I have some flight logs from Dan that show your name on many missions together. I am really glad you were able to reconnect with your old buddy,and hope to hear from you.
Linda McCabe, Thousand Oaks, CA.
|}
