One of these aircraft 4231072 the Betty J was a G model with a chin turret B17G-1-BO made by Boing and delivered to the group on 7 September 1943. It may have origionally been started as an F but was modified with a chin turret and subsequentely designated as a B17G. There was an F model on the group roster which was used as a "hack" whatever that may mean.<br></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table>
