Water Storage Tower Deenethorpe.

Paul Bellamy 12/17/2005 12:59:37 PM	Hi Graham, I'm not sure if it is the water tower for the airfield, but there is one to the usual Air Ministry design on the edge of Harry's Park Wood, part of Laundimer woods. It's close to the Bocase Stone. A quick check of the maps indicates the site of the water tower is some 20 feet higher than the airfield and accommodation areas, so it's possible. There are some photos of it here: http://www.fieldsofvalour.co.uk/Deenethorpe/WaterTower/wtwr-1.htm I can't recall seeing one marked on the Air Ministry plans of the airfield, but it's been a while since I saw them.
