Comments |- | '''Robert Johnson'''
11/2/2004 6:56:59 AM | I have a photo of an unknown crew thay my father (Robert Johnson) is in. A found a person who knew my fater and also the crew chief (Darwin Crisman)in the photo. I was then able to contact the Crew chief and he was able to give me names of the four men in the back. The first person on the left he named wrong since it was my father. I can give you the names of three of the people in the D. Crisman phot in the Unknown Bomb Squardon section. The last row left to right are George N, Kinney(killed by a propeller in a taxi accident and buried at Cambridge, England military cemetery), Eugene G. Hanna, Darwin Crisman (crew chief). The other two are unknown. The aircraft is most likely "Diana, Queen of the Chase" from th 612th.
The other unknwon crew is the Reese crew. Second from left in the back row is also in the photo I have. If it is Reese then I have another name in the photo. The two men kneeling in the photo are Hanna and Crisman. If the webmaster is interested in the phot I have I can send it to him.
Thank you
Robert Johnson
|- | '''Robert Johnson'''
11/5/2004 7:08:50 AM | In the Reese crew i misnamed one of the crew members. Instead of Hanna that person is Kinney. Sorry for the mistake.
|- | '''Larry Moore'''
11/7/2004 2:30:30 AM | My father, Kenneth Moore, was in the 612th Diana Queen of the Chase, Lloyd Harveson crew. Have you checked that photo in the gallery? or if you send me the photo I will check it.
Good Luck
Larry
|}
