MacKEON was shot down, on 19th of July 1944, on the way back of a bombing mission over Augsburg (South of Germany). All the crewmen of the aircraft bailed out, but were captured by the Germans, excepted 1st Lt. MacKEON, who could escape, helped by French Resistance, and return to United Kingdom.

Could somebody help me to get in touch with the family of 1st Lt. MacKeon ? In 1944 he lived 507 Beach 133 Street, Rockway Beach, N.Y.

Many thanks in advance. Merci beaucoup

Pierre BABIN
|}
