Greetings Don, Thank you very much for your reply to my inquiry about Sgt. Francis Allen. He married a girl from Dungannon, Ireland, Ruth Mitchell, and it looked likely that he had met her in Deenethorpe. Their daughter was born after he was killed I believe. Would there be any information available about GIs that married while at Deenethorpe and what happened to their family when they were killed? Were there married GIs quarters on base? Would they have been still eligible for care at the base hospital (if there was one)? Thanks again for the help! Most appreciated:) Nancy
