HE WAS ENGINEER AND TOP TURRET GUNNER ON PILOT CAPTAIN GASTON FOX CREW. THIS WAS THE ONLY AIRCRAFT FROM THE 401ST LOST ON THIS MISSION.T/SGT ALLEN D BROWN ALONG WITH THREE OTHER CREW MEMBERS WERE KIA THE REST WAS POWS THE NEXT MORNING BEING PICKUP BY A GERMAN U- BOAT. THEY DITCHED IN THE CHANNEL 5 MILES NORTH OF PORT CALAIS FRANCE. I HAVE MORE INFO ON THE MISSION BUT ALSO GO TO WEB SITE OF MISSIONS AND LOOK UP PILOT GASTON FOX, CLICK ON HIS NAME AND YOU CAN GET SOME INFO ABOUT THE MISSION .
