| Just a note for all you message board readers.  There is a part of this website that deals with Group B-17 serial numbers and nicknames.  Please look at this and help us out if you can.  There are a lot of nicknames out there that haven't been connected to a specific B-17/serial number.  Please let the webmaster know if you can put a name with a plane.  In talking to crew members at reunions, we've been able to make some connections.  Some crews had nicknames.  Some planes had nicknames that were never painted on them.  Some of the postings make connections, but might get lost in the shuffle.  <br/>
