Atchison, 76, a retired salesman for Mobil Oil Corp., died Thursday, April 9, 1998, at a Bedford hospital. Ben F. Atchison was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Doddridge, Ark. He had lived in Bedford the past 27 years. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the 401st Bomb Group. He worked for Mobil Oil Corp. 35 years in sales. He was loved by his family and friends. Mr. Atchison never met a stranger and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.<br/> <br/> Survivors: Sons, Bob Atchison and his wife, Pam, of Shreveport, Ben Atchison and his wife, Linda, of Houston, Richard Atchison and his wife, Kristin, of Burleson and Scott Atchison of Euless; daughter, Brenda Taylor of Bedford; brother, Brooks Atchison of Tyler; and five grandchildren.<br/> <br/> Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home<br/> Colleyville, 281-8751<br/> <br/> <br/> |}
