He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 401st Bomber Group.<br/> He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta, and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Jim Dague; daughters, Stephanie Herring, Claudia Brobst, and Deborah Drake; grandchildren, Tiffany Teaman, Christopher Dague, Dianne Cass, John Cass, Russ Cass, Todd Cass, Meredith Nechitilo, Deana Nechitilo, Sandra Drake, Eric Drake, Steven Drake, and Keven Drake; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack and Doug Brobst; sister, Betty Brobst.<br/> <br/> Visitation will be TODAY from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. For<br/> those who wish, donations may be made in Mr. Brobst's name to the American Heart Association,<br/> 1236 Weathervane, Suite 300C, Akron 44313; or to the American Diabetes Association, 225 W.<br/> Exchange St., Akron 44302.
