                                    <td style='vertical-align: top;'>I agree with Dave.  My Dad's records indicate that he flew on a mission to Merseburg on September 11, 1944.  The only notation he made was &quot;Here we go again!&quot;<br><br>I note that his crew flew to Merseburg on July 29, 1944 and a tire on the landing gear was ruptured by flak.  Maybe that explains his notation for the 9/11/44 mission.<br><br>You have an interesting web site.<br></td>
