Comments |- | '''Dave Moyer'''
7/14/2001 1:28:47 AM | "Bad Penny", piloted by 2/Lt Sullivan Tonti received damage on the 13 May 1944 mission to Stettin and was forced to make a landing in Sweden. While interned near "Lukabrun", S/Sgt Bower drowned in a lake on 21 June 1944. Although I have a copy of the MACR, I would appreciate hearing from a surviving crew member or anyone who may have knowledge of the incident. S/Sgt Bower was one of 77 men from Sunbury, PA who died during WW2. I am in the process of compiling information in order to complete a biographical profile honoring each of 77 Sunbury casualties. Please respond to WW2Sunbury@aol.com Thank you!
|- | '''l.a mitchell'''
7/14/2001 10:19:04 AM |
Sullivan N.
