Kyle Berzina 5/28/2004 6:42:26 PM | Helen and Arnold, My name is Kyle Berzina and I live in Denver, Colorado. My wife's grandfather, Curtis Doty, was a top turret gunner on "Omar the Dent Maker" and flew several flights on this plane. He passed away in 1994, but I am researching as much as I can about his flights for his sons and daughters and have compiled quite a bit of information. I am currently at work right now, but I have several folders and binders with some of his flight information, including a book that lists the brief history of Omar at home. I would certainly like to speak with you as I haven't had much luck finding anyone associated with this particular B-17. I am so glad you posted your inquiry. I will look into my information and see if I can find anything about SSgt. J. B. Carson, Tail Gunner or James D. Haffner, Bombardier. You wouldn't by chance have any photographs of the plane? Susposedly some exist, however, I have been looking for close to four years now to no avail. I would really enjoy the opportunity to talk with either of you, I can be reached at home at 303.432.8731 after 5 pm MST or anytime on my cell at 303.356.2566. Of course, if you prefer email always work well. Thank you, Kyle J. Berzina, CMCA kberzina@managementspecialists.com |
