10/6/2012 9:23:37 AM | I spent two weeks in England recently, and the high point of my trip was a visit to the airfield on Monday 24 September. I want to thank Ray Corby, Paul Bellamy, Paul Knight, and especially Graham Bratley for taking the time to show me around and chat with me. Also Sarah, who opened the Weldon church for us, and even allowed me to go up in the bell tower and ring the bell. The weather was on the dreary side, but I'll chalk that up to realism. 🙂 Pictures were taken, and I will post some in the near future. THANK YOU again to Graham and the others who made my visit possible, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable. Bob Carson Canandaigua, NY USA
