| Greetings all,<br/> <br/> This is not directly related to the 401st BG, but I hope I can tap into your knowledge. Can anyone advise me where I can find information on USAAF Officers serving in the UK during WW2?<br/> <br/> My sister-in-law has asked me to do some research into her grandfather. I have his full name as he was named on her father's birth certificate. He was a Captain serving in the USAAF in 1943. The address given for him is not a military base, nor - being in Coventry - is it close to any USAAF base I know, so it is likely to be her grandmother's address or perhaps a relative of hers. They did not marry. Other than that there is no information on him.<br/> <br/> To be honest, I have no idea where to start with this. I have tried a google search but have found nothing. You can submit Standard Form 180.
