They are a much, much older and has a very different broken chain that has a religious medal attached. This set of dog tags differs from the other set in they have different sets of numbers and letters that I cannot explain. Can anyone tell me what the letters and numbers on the WW II set mean?

I also have a much larger different badge that hangs on a chain of some kind that I have not photographed yet so I will need help identifying that as well. It appears to have something written (possibly in Latin) in the center of it.

Time to get some much needed sleep...

Jackie

|- | '''donaldbyers'''

6/14/2010 9:43:11 PM | With out seeing anything one would guess the numbers are his service number do you have those numbers from his discharge papers that match them or not? Pictures are also a 1000 words.

Try this search area [http://aad.archives.gov/aad/series-description.jsp?s=3360&cat=WR26&bc=,sl]

Don

Sgt. Donald C.
