I'm still looking for it.

Photo 3:
Again, this location should be easy to identify...... but I haven't found it yet. EDIT: It's Magdalene Street / Bridge Street, Cambridge.
Here's a close-up showing the detail, including the name "Cox's Garage" on the turret, US flag on a pole on the wall, and a church tower further down the road. The Fordson trucks parked outside are military/in government use, and the small vehicle on the right is a 5cwt "Tilly".

Photo 4:
Easy one this, it's Deene Hall.

Photo 5:
Cottage beside Hill Farm, Benefield.

Photo 6:
Red K6 phone box, with a church hall or chapel in the background.
Another "should-be-easy-to-find" location to investigate. It doesn't match any of the chapels in Oundle as far as I can tell.

Photo 7:
A bar, could be anywhere in England or Scotland really.

Photo 8:
Another easy one, it's the main street in Benefield, facing west.
The Wheatsheaf pub is on the left behind the phone box.
The cottage in photo 5 is off-camera to the right.

Photo 9:
Oundle railway station.

Feel free to post suggestions. 🙂

TTFN,
Paul

Paul Bellamy

|- | '''donaldbyers'''

4/4/2009 6:24:56 PM | Quite the outgoer are ya, that a good little piece you picked up on their,

Don

Sgt. The 'stepped-edge' atop - reflection and back-bar look similar. 'Nuther round, please...
No.8: Main street, Bennefield: Is this 'main street' now the A427?
