| Just to give you guys a heads up - the forum will be offline this weekend.<br/> <br/> We are transitioning to a new kind of website and will be conducting live testing this weekend.<br/> <br/> Eventually, this forum will be locked and the discussion group will be changed to a different format.<br/> <br/> I know that change is hard and never appreciated, which oddly enough is one of the reasons for this change. Many of the Association members have had difficulty in understanding the forum concept as it is presented here. We are looking into different ways to maintain the discussions while making things easier for those who are not as comfortable with technology. <br/><br/><br/>

'Tech' has the industry-wide problem of simply failing to serve the client, in the language of the client, in this case  the User.  Just look at any software manual or even the National Archives' Web-site - undecipherable and un-navigatable, respectively - techies doing 'geek-ese' instead of  User-ease. <br/><br/><br/>
