After I posted the close-up of part of the "Snow Photo" in the Mickey Ships thread, I had a couple of people ask what the buildings were in the background.
As the original is too big to post here in one piece, I've split it into two. If it's still too small let me know and I'll do it in three sections to show the buildings more clearly. The photographer was standing on the roof of the Control Tower (Building 2), facing roughly southeast.

1: Gunnery Training Blister Hangar (Building 24)
2: Blast Shelter
3: Pyrotechnics Store (Building 52)
4: Hangar 1 (Sub-Depot Hangar) (Building 50)
5: Latrine (Building 55)

6: Electrical Sub-Station (Building 65)
7: Squadron/Flight Offices (Building 69)
8: Briefing Rooms (Building 70)
9: Radar Workshop (Building 74)
10: Grange Farm
11: Works Services Compound (Buildings 75-77)
12: Pyrotechnics Store (Building 84)

See the attached section of the airfield site plan for buildings and their numbers.

All the best,
Paul
